So many memories slowly coming to an end. The girls' last year playing softball. Aimee and JaNea thought it was hard last year saying good-bye to their friends, some of which they had grown up with, graduating. Now they are top dogs among the girls softball team, and it's slowly winding down. You both have done an awesome job this year and I enjoyed being able to be a part of it. Can't wait to share our 'surprise' for senior night next week! :o) See you soon girls!

Yep....we can celebrate together! It's MY birthday today...I hear all the songs of the movie 16 Candles rambling through my head. :o) I guess that shows my age a little too...but it's a wonderful day! :o) Fall is my favorite time of the year, I had an incredible weekend and decided to make someone else's day special too!
Now...to the celebrate part. ANYONE who leaves a comment on this post of the blog wishing me a happy birthday will receive 1 dozen photo cards for FREE with your senior session! That's right! Hadley! On a first place victory during yesterday's (Monday's) golf meet! Hadley stopped by the softball field to see how the girls were doing after her work was done. She was proud to announce the girls placed first and she had first overall. :o) Congrats girl!
The girls' softball team lost after 17 innings on Monday. 1-0. Which was definitely not a loss. I thought the game would never end, just when it looked like it was over, we were right back in it again.

Is one of my favorite sports. Y'all know how busy I've been so 'xcuse the fact these are from a past game and not this past Friday. I'm getting there! ;o) Everybody likes pictures, doesn't matter what game they're from. Enjoy....facebook away if you're in the photo! (and even if you're not) ;o)
Okay, so who do you think is really in charge of the game? Who calls the shots? You thought it was the coach?! Pahleeze! Mini-Me (Yes, I'm an Austin Powers junkie) is always in charge. Couldn't you see the mini earpiece? Listen dad...I think you should reverse pivot, take the ball deep to the FB, set up.....oh who am I kidding, just tell mom I need milk and cookies will ya?! I'll get back to ya on that play later! ;o) The life of a coaches kid.
Okay, can you guess where I was for these next few pictures? I'm always getting in trouble for something. Yep, on top of the stadium. Nope, not the announcers box...I was on the edge of the roof. Technically, 3-4 feet away from the edge, but apparently yep, it's a no-no. (do not attempt this stunt at home boys and girls!) lol But didn't I catch some cool shots before I got caught? ;o) Mother once told me rules were made to be broken. It was just a tiny rule. I was laying down....it's not like a giant gust of wind could have blown my big butt over the edge.... geez.

yep, I'm still hiding on the roof....

Savannah - Check your gallery! You should be loaded now. :o)
Lindsey....you're next! Patience dear!
Aimee.....I'm sitting here wondering if you are hiding under the covers during the thunderstorm! ;o) Love ya 'tard! And I love thunderstorms. It was a nice change of pace for an evening of no activities, no responsibilities. Hope you aren't too scared. You're my favorite terd...I mean 'tard! lol I need you and JaNea to call me about your senior gifts! Don't forget!
Camie - You forgot your autograph of my tribute spirals, for your free picture!
Scott & Zach - Don't forget to stop by the studio sometime to pick up your free pic of your tribute. Thanks for the autographs! :)
Zach - Your metallic stadium tickets have been ordered! Glad you liked them. (Thanks for sharing Scott!) ;o)

Tons of photos were delivered to the high school office Friday. I've found a helper for the studio and it was awesome to have her help out while I was busy shooting. We managed to get caught up on all sports photos for school and delivered:
If you had photos taken and did not receive them, there was a problem with your order and you need to contact the studio. Thanks!
Monday afternoon we will be doing Volleyball memory mates after school. See you then!

Wanna see something really cool? Some of you know that my sister has a studio in Oklahoma. Seniors are both of our favorite subjects, as our motto is ANYTHING GOES! When we say bring whatever you want for your senior pictures we mean it! Check out her senior from this weekend! You can see more on her blog if you want to check it out at http://www.reflectionsofmepics.blogspot.com/ Meet Brandi and her pet python Lucy. :o)

Krystal took me on a hike for her senior pictures. Places I had never seen and I had a great time. :o) Can't wait to use a couple of those places, but I promise not to share the secrets. ;o) lol Thanks Krystal, hope you enjoy your previews!

Holy moly! What a beauty! I have known Camie since she was born and I think she has turned into a beautiful woman. Probably one of the hardest things for a parent to do is watch their child grow into a woman or man, but I fully believe....."If you got it, flaunt it!" Farm girls are gorgeous. :o) I had a lot of fun today Camie and hope you like your previews. and you know, everyday I work I feel the need to improve on something and change things up. And today, I accomplished just that. No two seniors should have the same pictures and I try to use different locations with everyone. Can't wait to finish your gallery girlie! And I'm proud of the woman you've become too!

Kody chose to keep it simple and just do the studio session for his senior portraits. Luckily I convinced him to walk outside with me for a few minutes. Nothing says you have to sacrifice style and cool portraits just to keep it simple. Hope you like your previews Kody!

A weekend senior preview for Scott. I had a great time, and it was a nice change of pace to have one of the guys come through the studio today. My favorite age to photograph are seniors, and Scott reminded me why today. So laid back, and game for anything. Thanks for the laughs Scott! Check out the studio blog for a couple more previews: http://www.lookatmepics.blogspot.com/ (my favorite new blue wall is there!)

Memory Mate photos have arrived! (most of them) ;o) They are being packaged and will be delivered to school. The delay was due in part to late orders being turned in. Something I've allowed students to do when they weren't always prepared. However, it takes longer for everyone else to receive their photos. When an order goes in to the lab I have to submit the entire team/group.
So.... the following will be delivered to school for pick up:

Sorry....another day without photos. The girls softball teams had a long hot day at Carrollton. We came away with some wins though, so it is well worth the hard work. :o) And man, don't I wish I would have been taking pictures! My daughter (yes I get to brag....it's my blog), hit a home run out of the park! I thought I would explode with pride! :o) Way to go Taylor!!!!
Tuesday night is our first home game against Brookfield. Count on pictures! ;o)

Congratulations to the boys for winning their first home football game! What little I got to see was awesome! (the end of the 4th quarter!).
Sorry no pics this time. (bad photographer) I spent most of my night working in the concession stand (from 5 p.m. to 9 pm). Talk about busy! A lot of people showed up to cheer on the Dawgs! And my brother....how many people heard my brother? Howie Lynch. You gotta love a dedicated fan! "That's just another Trenton Bulldog!.........." he would yell and then his surrounding friends who are avid fans would follow with "First Down!" He was hoarse by the end of the first half, but kept it up till the end of the game!
The only pictures I got to take were before the game....the cheerleaders had their memory mates taken. We tried out best to distract the other team while shooting in the end zone during warm ups. So....was it really the guys hard work that won the game? Or was it the girls in their short skirts that put our opponent in the wrong frame of mind before the game ever started? After looking at how sharp the girls were Friday night, I'm not too sure! ;o)
The cheerleaders were telling me about the pep assembly at school. Definitely brings back memories. They also invited me to attend and take their pictures, along with all the shouting and screaming classmates. Sounds like fun! Maybe next time I can make a point to be there. :o) I heard the juniors kicked butt!
I got a chance to see the t-shirts the girls made for their mothers (and yes Aimee...I think you're right, I still need one that says Aimee's other mother) ;o) I loved the saying the girls came up with for the back of their shirts. So glad I took that impromptu photo. Now....if I can stay out of the cookshack long enough to see the boys' next time.
